The VOICE

I'm closing the office early today, because my boss just called and said we should be drinking green beer right now. Plus, I've got a road trip ahead of me and the sooner it gets underway, the better.

Over the course of the day I've developed the sick voice - the one that sounds kind of cool, but is really a result of a strange illness affecting the vocal cords. I used to get it once a year, and my old friend Courtney always told me she wished I would talk like this all the time, but it's really not much fun.

So I'm getting on the road now. Long weekend in a glamorous city. Oh boy.
